Ja, zweimal gehört und schon setzt sich der Song unfehlbar in die Gehörgänge.
Großartig, Ryan Adams Gesang: so kotzt sich jemand aus, der durch eine tiefe Krise geht. Somit erinnert der Gesang an Jeff Buckley oder gar Tom Waits in deren besten Momenten).
Vom Text her stimmt der Song überaus nachdenklich. Es geht um das Ausbrennen, das Verblühen von Lebensenergie, die sich schließlich in Todessehnsucht verwandelt, die nur noch einen kleinen Schubser braucht, um … na ja, Selbstmord eben...

Ryan Adams Rat - denn der Song scheint ein sehr einfühlsamer Brief zu sein, an jemanden, der Ryan sehr nahe steht - lautet:
