What am I saying this is fantastic. One of the most addictive rap tracks of the past few years. It took me a while, though.

An excellent song with a great message. It's so good to have a song like this to listen to in this alcohol-centric society we live in, where it's thrust upon you at every turn.

Some great lyrics saves this song from total abomination. Sadly I can't get into the accompanying music and I cannot stand his voice. 2.5

Ach toll. Alle paar Monate stoße ich auf einen Hip Hop/Rap/RnB Song, den ich mir dann non-stop anhören kann. Dazu gehörten auch schon Jamie Foxxs Blame It oder Drakes Headlines und Best I Ever Had.

Ein Pool voller Schnaps, in dem er ertrinkt. Lamars Song basiert auf eigenen Erfahrungen mit dem Thema Alkohol und ist 2012 auf dem hochgelobten Album „Good Kid, M.A.A.D City“ erschienen. Die Raps und auch die Themen gelten bis heute als prägend für das Rap-Genre als Kunstform.

Great hip-hop track! Upon first listen it was a bit awkward, but like every other Kendrick Lamar track, it grew on me and became quite addictive.

Die Antwort darauf kommt von den Sugababes - die Original-Sugababes, die sich jetzt "Mutya Keisha Siobhan" schimpfen - ihr "Lay Down in Swimming Pools" macht aus Kendrick's Scheibe einen schleichenden, harmonischen Song ...

HipHop der besseren Sorte. An seine Stimme muss ich mich zwar erst gewöhnen, die Nummer ist aber astrein produziert.

Kam am Ende noch bis auf #17 in den US-Charts.

Lyrically it is very good and I definitely agree with the message. In saying that though there are parts that are really bad (like those background vocals saying stand up drank etc.) and Kendrick's voice sounds really bad at the start of the second verse but thankfully is good at times as well.

Brilliantly executed rap with a good message and I actually like Kendrick's voice in it.

Sein erster erfolgreicher Song, der es bis in die US-Top 20 geschafft hat. Meiner Meinung nach auch sein bisher bester Song, der mir heute immer noch sehr gut gefällt. Klare 6*

Dieses "Drank" nervt mich heute schon ziemlich stark aber die Parts und die Hook sind bombe.

Auch nach 10 Jahren noch gut.
